Ella & Reed were able to spend almost 3 weeks with us in July/Aug timeframe. And what did they want to do: spend the entire time on Omega!! We can gladly do that.

We had so much fun. We decided to pull both of our dinghy's. One inflatable with an engine & Alpha our sailing dinghy. John taught Ella to sail in Alpha and Daleen showed Reed how to run the outboard in our newly named inflatable, BETA.

We were lucky enough to get a spot on the dock at James Island the first night out.

The boat next to us had a Dad with his son & friend approx 14 years olf. The boys had been fishing & crabbing, and had their crabs in the traps to keep alive for a few days. Grandpa was walking back from the island and noticed a octopus on top of the crab trap trying to have lunch of the crabs. So Grandpa, the Dad and boys all captured the octopus and kept it in their live well for a few hours for all of us to enjoy. Wow. what a sight... We later release the octopus back into his home.
